Another excellent session... You just can't beat razzing about as fast as possible on flattish water... Well, you can I suppose, razzing around in waves for a start! :)

I got to the beach at around 2.30p,m and found a decent 20-25 knot wind forming white caps on the water of the estuary. the sun was shining and it was nice to be able to rig my 5.0m sail without having to don several layers of clothing. My winter suit and hood were at home, so I had to go out with my old wetsuit on and no extra layers, but with the sun shining it didn't feel that bad.

i was perfectly powered up the whole time and had a great time just balsting back and forth across the slightly choppy waters of the estuary. A few chop hops here and there, loads of good carve gybes, and I even tried a few duck gybes, but decided that it was too cold in my old suit to be falling in too much, so ended up just sticking with standard carves. It was perfect, no one else out, the estuary to myself, enough water so i didn't need to worry about the sandbanks and 2.5 hours of flat out sailing.
